Marvel Studios has unveiled the star-studded lineup for Avengers: Doomsday, bringing back fan-favorite heroes alongside fresh additions. A major highlight is Letitia Wright’s return as Shuri, the brilliant Wakandan leader who took on the Black Panther mantle in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Her comeback reinforces Wakanda’s growing influence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), keeping its legacy at the forefront of the franchise.

Joining her is Winston Duke, returning as M'Baku, the formidable leader of Wakanda's Jabari tribe. Duke's involvement suggests a deeper exploration of Wakandan leadership and its role in the impending multiversal conflict.

The cast also includes Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, and Simu Liu as Shang-Chi. Notably, Robert Downey Jr. returns to the MCU in a new role as the iconic villain Doctor Doom, marking a significant shift from his previous portrayal of Tony Stark/Iron Man.

The announcement was made during a multi-hour global livestream, where director chairs bearing the actors' names were unveiled sequentially, building anticipation among fans worldwide.
