Amazon Prime Video is set to premiere House of David, an ambitious historical drama series that chronicles the life of David, the renowned king of ancient Israel. The series will debut on February 27, 2025, with the first three episodes available immediately, followed by weekly releases.

Developed by Jon Erwin, known for his work on faith-based films, House of David delves into the ascent of David from an unlikely shepherd boy to the celebrated king of Israel. The narrative explores his complex relationship with King Saul, who, consumed by pride, witnesses his own downfall as David rises.
